...The first day of Fall Sports: August 17, 2015.





 ...There are 12 middle school athletic teams throughout the year.





...MS fall athletic teams include:  football, boys cross country, girls cross country, cheerleading, & field hockey.




...The first day of HS Football Heat Acclimation:  August 10, 2015.


   ...The first day of Winter Sports:  November 16, 2015.  




 ...There are many varsity sports at YSHS – 11 fall sports, 6 winter sports, and 8 spring sports.



...HS fall athletic teams include:  football, boys cross country, girls cross country, field hockey, girls volleyball, cheerleading, boys soccer, girls soccer, boys golf, girls golf, & girls tennis. 





...HS spring athletic teams include:  baseball, softball, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, boys track and field, girls track and field, boys tennis, & boys volleyball.



  HS winter athletic teams include: boys basketball, girls basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, boys swimming, & girls swimming.




...MS winter athletic teams include:  boys basketball, girls basketball, wrestling, & cheerleading.




...York Suburban HS is considered a AAA athletic school although we are AA in some sports.





...MS spring athletic teams include: boys track and field, girls track and field, & girls volleyball.


  We participate in the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) which is part of District III which falls under the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA).



...The Homecoming festivities begin with the YSSD parade on Thursday, October 1st



 ...The Homecoming football game will be against Ephrata on Friday, October 2nd with kickoff at 7:00pm.


... The Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, October 3rd. 



 ...York Suburban is the YAIAA wrestling sport-chair for the league.


...The boys cross country team will be defending its’ PIAA state championship this fall.


 ...The Trojans will have a new coach leading the football program this fall – Coach Andy Loucks.



...The boys and girls cross county teams will defend their District III crowns this fall.





...The girls swim team will defend its District III championship this winter.




 ...During the 2014-15 school year there were 412 HS and MS fall student-athletes.



...During the 2014-15 school year there were 212 HS and MS students participating in winter athletics.

...The track surface will be new for the start of the 2015-16 school year.



...There will be a new location for the fitness center at the high school this fall.




...York Suburban hosts the following athletic tournaments – boys and girls soccer, boys and girls JV volleyball, boys and girls basketball, & track and field relays.



 ...There are 10 York Suburban teachers leading varsity programs as head coaches – field hockey, girls cross country, boys and girls volleyball, golf, girls basketball, wrestling, baseball, boys tennis, & track and field.



...The student-athletes and coaches do their best to Be YS Well!



 ...The first day of Spring Sports:  March 7, 2016.




During the 2014-15 school year, there were 369 HS and MS student-athletes in the spring.
